Episode CMXVI– Torquado

These we found first in our water as we crossed a bilious valley and then, amongst us, lodged in peculiar places where they had their way with our flesh in the most distressing but oddly fascinating ways until we were fully undone and had to flee. Those most infested among us developed a strange urge to adorn themselves with pleasing scent, to pursue unnatural pleasures and to adopt an unusual gait. We dealt with such aberrations with fire and the garrote as is decreed in the Sacred Teachings as promulgated by the High Priests of the Holy Place.
