Exhibit 12-6 – Hgyschrax

Hgyschrax (Heiengrex, from the ancient heeglxn) for snapdog is any of six species of well muscled large and voracious hunting beasts of the order klipshnex hargravia. They are native to certain cold and desolate islands where they are rather common, run in packs of several hundred and prey upon dead and dying cattle, an occasional villager or two and many small snails and lizards, particularly of the deadly spiny variety. Hunters prize them for their ferocity in bringing down prey and for their tendency to strike fear. Typically the height of a man and twice as long, they must be treated gingerly and not be mistaken for a well-fed mastrene from which these creatures are believed to have been spontaneously created by divine intervention.
As recorded in Field Guide IV – The Natural Philosophy of Distant Realms, The Beasts.

Episode MLIV – The Heathen Guard

We hired many of these muscular heathens to help us in rooting out the evil makers who inhabited the land that we wished to claim for our work as they were especially ruthless with those who failed to bend to our will, who refused to accept our teaching and who were unrepentant about their sinful ways and shameful ways. They meted out lessons to the recalcitrant and by means of they pikes and the persuasion of hot brands and the teeth of their hounds produced many heartfelt confessions from the guilty who then could end their time in a holy and blameless state.
